May 28th, Cindy and I went down to Oakville, WA (85 miles South of Auburn) to pick up 17 intact jills (6) and hobbs (11) that a lady took in because the pet police and regular police confiscated them from a hoarder. We called another shelter that said they could take them (we are full) so we proceeded to take them to Lacey's shelter (Ferret City) in Burlington (North). I couldn't thank her enough. There were only 2 that were a little too thin. BUT everyone was in season. aarrggghhhhh. They were small and quite young. Sweet, scared and they loved the Totally Ferret food and the bowls were empty by the time we got up there. We traveled a total of 425 miles that day and I got home at 12:10am--did meds/soup and went to bed....and I was soooooooooo tired the next day...but it was worth it.

Come on in and enjoy these pictures of ferrets that need "forever" homes. They could be just the special pet you have been looking for.
Remember, they are a combination of a puppy, kitty and 2--2yr olds. Thanks for looking!

These are wonderful people who are SPONSORING one or more ferrets.
Sponsoring is financially helping by paying $10, $15, or $25 a month. This $ helps pay for food, medicine, vet bill, and miscellaneous items needed for the ferret. It is truly appreciated!

These precious dookers have health issues that require medicine to make their bodies more comfortable or they haven't found the right "forever home" to dote on them because of blindness or other health problems. Some will remain at DDDFR or be in hospice at LDFR.
Sponsorship or donations to DDDFR for ferret medicine are greatly appreciated.
